Coventry easy change tooling for the novamill - Denford
2016.8.24 This isnt really machine specific, I have just bought a Novamill, with the coventry easy change fitted. Ive just found a great thread in the triac forum on doing away with it in favor of Bt30 toolholding which will come in handy later if I go that route. Ive 3 x 1/2 inch tool holders a da200 collet chuck and a couple of others of an imperial size.

Denford Cyclone -turret positioning error - Denford
2018.2.17 resoldered the wires, pulled the pins and replaced, and switched the phases and it's all good now! I still need to refit it and indicate it in properly, but its working spot on when its hooked up on the bench. the steps to remove: 1) remove the 4 large allen head bolts - hold turret, its only held by bolts not pins.

Denstep board (NovaMill) shutting down after a few minutes - Denford ...
2010.2.26 I have a customer in the USA with a problem with a NovaMill. It has a DENSTEP control card Is Running VR Milling 5.13.0.311 When it is first switched on it runs OK for 15 minutes or so then shuts down loosing communication. I'm at the school with the mill issue - I start the system and connect.

Denford or Boxford CNC mill - which is best? - MYCNCUK
2018.5.10 These seem to be an easier path to follow compared to a manual mill conversion. My initial research suggests a Denford Novamill might be a good option - newer and better spec than a Starmill, and smaller than a Triac (which wouldn't fit!). Alternatively a Boxford 190 VMC could work.

2021.10.18 Novamill, Software version 2.32. My mill stopped while setting up a job. Homed ok, spindle was on but it stopped moving whilst jogging. I pressed the emergency stop.
